Miniature Beach Terranium

This was inspired by Toni Ellison. I always watch her videos and I wanted to make these as well so I remade them myself. Check out Toni's blog and YouTube. She's so creative and a lot of my crafts were inspired by her. http://www.toniellison.com/

This was inspired by Toni Ellison.

Materials:

  • Mini corked vial (Tim Holtz Idea-ology from Michael's)
  • Small sea shells (I found mine around my house but you can get them from Michael's)
  • Neon blue food coloring (Kroger's Neon Food Coloring from Ralph's)
  • Tooth picks (from a supermarket)
  • Clear glue (Elmer's from Michael's)
  • Strong Glue (E6000 from Michael's)

Directions:

  • Pick out a few shells that will fit into the hole at the top.
  • Fill it with clear glue.
  • In a disposable cup, drop one drop of blue food coloring and a bit of clear glue. Mix well.
  • Use a toothpick and pick up a little bit of the mixture and add it to your bottle. Mix well and add more clear glue and more of the blue mixture.
  • Smear the sides of  the cork with your strong glue and cap it onto your bottle.
