Bottled Emotions

I thought of a bunch of things as I was at my parent's house and I realized I bottle up my emotions a lot. I thought, well, this is bad for my but I'm going to do it anyways. So I made a something to bottle up my emotions. Physically.

Materials:

  • Jar with a hinged lid
  • Different colored paper
  • Jump ring
  • Toothpick

Directions:

  • Cut out a 1.5x1 inch rectangle out of your paper. Write down your thoughts and use a toothpick to roll it up.
  • Roll it into a tiny scroll and slide the jump ring through.
  • Add to your jar and keep collecting.

Color Meanings:

'Pink is the color of unconditional love and nurturing. Pink can also mean immature, silly and girlish.'
'Yellow is the color of the mind and intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. However it can also suggest impatience, criticism and cowardice.'
'Green is the color of balance and growth. It can man both self-reliance a a positive and possessiveness as a negative.'
'Blue is the color of trust and peace. It can suggest loyalty and integrity as well as conservatism and frigidity.'
'Purple is the color of the imagination. It can be creative and individual or immature and impractical.'
  •  I keep a little extra so I can make more quickly without cutting and measuring.
