Handmade Coffee Soap

Today, I had to babysit my neighbor's daughter, Sua. We really had nothing to do, so I took out something I bought awhile back and asked her if she wanted to try making soap. She was so shocked at the fact that we could make soap at home. I took out my glycerin and made coffee soap and rice soap. Coffee has caffeine which reduces cellulite and the coffee grains exfoliate your skin.

This wasn't really inspired by anything, but here's a picture of what I was aiming for.

Materials:

  • Clear glycerin
  • 1/2 tbsp of ground coffee
  • Handful of whole coffee beans
  • Plastic container
  • Knife

Directions:

  • Cut your glycerin into four equal pieces by cutting it vertically once, and horizontally once.
  • Cut up one of your glycerin pieces into cubes and melt in a microwave safe bowl.
  • Add your ground coffee and coffee beans and stir until they are completely combined.
  • Pour into your plastic container and let it cool completely for 30 minutes to an hour.
